Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our air conditioning products and services.

The right AC size depends on the room's square footage, ceiling height, insulation, sun exposure, and occupancy. As a general guide, a 9,000 BTU unit suits rooms up to 20 m², a 12,000 BTU unit handles 20–30 m², and 18,000+ BTU is ideal for larger spaces. Our certified engineers will conduct a free site survey and load calculation to recommend the perfect unit for your needs — contact us today.

Yes. All Midea air conditioners purchased through BSM Conditioners come with a 4-year manufacturer's warranty. The compressor carries an additional extended warranty. To maintain your warranty, installation and servicing must be carried out by our authorised technicians. For full warranty details, visit www.bsmair.co.ke or call us on +254 20 251 8060.

Simply contact us via phone, email, or the request form on this page to schedule a consultation. Our team will visit your premises for a free site survey, recommend the appropriate unit, and provide a transparent quotation. Once you confirm, our certified engineers will handle the full installation — including electrical wiring, refrigerant piping, and final commissioning — at a time that suits you.

Regular maintenance is key to efficient operation and a long lifespan. We recommend: (1) Clean or replace air filters every 2–4 weeks during heavy use. (2) Keep the outdoor unit clear of debris and ensure adequate airflow. (3) Schedule a professional service every 6–12 months — this includes coil cleaning, refrigerant check, electrical inspection, and drainage clearing. BSM offers annual maintenance contracts at competitive rates. Contact us to set one up today.

Air Conditioners in Kenya: Prices, Models and Where to Buy

BSM Conditioners is Kenya's authorised Midea Air-Conditioner distributor, supplying and installing the complete Midea range for residential and commercial customers across Kenya since 1947. If you are looking to buy air conditioners in Kenya or shop for the best AC models online, BSM is the trusted local source for genuine Midea products with full installation and after-sales support.

Midea Air Conditioner Prices in Kenya

BSM's listed air conditioner prices in Kenya start from KSh 74,995 for a Midea 12,000 BTU wall-mounted split unit. For commercial-grade ceiling cassette systems, prices start from KSh 149,995. Full installation costs depend on site conditions, pipe length, and electrical requirements — always request a supply-and-install quotation. For coast-based buyers, see air conditioner prices in Mombasa. For budget options, read affordable air conditioners in Kenya.

Choosing the Best Air Conditioner for Your Needs

Selecting the best air conditioner in Kenya depends on your room size, usage pattern, and budget. For most bedrooms and small offices, a small wall-mounted split AC of 9,000–12,000 BTU is the right choice — see our 12,000 BTU price guide. For high-use spaces or anyone looking to save on electricity, an inverter air conditioner will pay back its price premium within 12–24 months. Commercial spaces above 25 m² are better served by a ceiling cassette or ductable system. For a full overview of available Midea models and their specifications, see our Midea air conditioner guide for Kenya.

Air Conditioners in Kenya for Homes, Offices and Commercial Buildings

BSM Air Conditioners helps you plan air conditioning enquiries around the space you want to cool. Compare room use, installation format, capacity and the complete quotation before choosing equipment. Our website brings together Midea product listings, buying guides and service information, with model-specific enquiries for Gree, MDV and Bosch.

Wall, Ceiling and Floor Standing Air Conditioning

Start with our Midea wall air conditioners for individual-room enquiries and our ceiling cassette and ductable air conditioners for ceiling-based installations. Explore floor standing air conditioners when the layout calls for an upright indoor unit. The installation format should suit the room, maintenance access and drainage route, rather than being selected from appearance alone.

Air Conditioner Prices and Installation Quotes in Kenya

Use the air conditioner prices guide for Kenya and dedicated product pages to review supplied Midea equipment prices. Ask for a written quotation covering the exact model, delivery, included pipework, electrical preparation, commissioning and applicable taxes. For coastal locations, read the Mombasa air conditioner pricing guide and confirm the arrangements for your address.

Cooling Capacity, Inverter Models and Running Costs

Read our energy-saving air conditioner guide and home room AC selection guide before building a shortlist. Cooling capacity, electrical input and efficiency ratings describe different characteristics. Compare exact model data using equivalent standards, and share the room dimensions, glazing, sunlight and occupancy so a suitable capacity can be assessed.

Air Conditioning Services and Commercial HVAC Planning

BSM’s air conditioning services cover installation, repair, maintenance and duct enquiries. Larger buildings need a coordinated design covering rooms, controls, pipe routes and service access; begin with the commercial HVAC systems page. Review our work and information about BSM, then request a quotation based on your project requirements.
